For various reasons, I’ve always wanted to do a Premier Fitness course in either personal training or gym instruction. I don’t really want to be either of these professions (and can’t afford/justify the fees for the former) but I’ve spent so much of my time in gyms that I’d simply like to know a bit more what I’m doing.…
Although now that I think about it, I’ve spent even more time in pubs and I have no interest in taking a brewing or cellar-keeping course. Hmm.
I know various Fetchies that have gone down the whole career change route (with mixed results), and I don’t think I’m up for that. Well, I know I’m not up for that. I’d like to make fat people less fat, but not sure I could deal with the rest of it. Not while I’m still pretending to change careers to being a full time scribbler.
Anyway. Would it be just a total waste of money that I could satisfy with (yet more) books on the subject, or would the discipline of a course be useful — possibly enough to get me out of my ‘weighty’ rut?
