The alta/er ego — Monk Quixote

The author posing, looking miserable. C’est la vie, c’est la guerre.

Monk Quixote is a seven-foot tall (that’s two metres, to my inch-challenged readers) warrior monk. As a rare silver panther, he is very proud of his fur.  He smites all before him, and is smitten by those not after him. He likes to think he has an enigmatic smile, but it could be mistaken for a terrified grin to alleviate awkward social situations. He’s a little shy, and I can’t draw, so you’ll have to make do with this picture for now.

Monk Quixote is confused. Is he a hero?He has a very shiny tail… but what makes someone a hero? And what makes someone forget their past?

Of course, it would help if he really existed, and sadly for MQ, he doesn’t.

Monk Quixote is the online alter-ego of Tom Esher, the hero — if you can call him that — of most of my fiction, ie to date he’s been in The Hum, and Tom’s Universe.
