Thanks Keith. As it happens you nudged me towards reviewing the excellent videos that are on the Scrivener site, and after a little hard work, I now have the edited manuscript back in Scrivener (and split back into chapters) - and I'm a little clearer on the formatting mess that I got myself into.

It's all part of the learning process, I guess, but I'm getting more and more comfortable with the Scrivener workflow - and my next novel will be a lot easier to write as a result.

Hi,
I think you should take some comfort (and pride) in the knowledge that you at least completed a first draft. There are those of us who envy you that, no matter how much work seems to lie ahead. Having never got that far myself I have no right to comment, but it sounds as though you should just leave it alone without even looking at it until you're itching to get back to it... If that's likely to happen, of course.
By the way, if this is a novel, you probably could have used Scrivener to add the page numbers to the headers and format everything in standard manuscript format at the Compile Draft stage. Probably not worth it now that you have made spelling corrections in other apps, but if you need any help with this in the future, just drop me a line.
Good luck!
All the best,
Keith
